Fiona Friday Funday!

The Gorge Paddle Challenge is one of the premier and historic Stand Up Paddle Races in the World! Every year this event returns to Hood River to bring together the most enthusiastic watersports crowd to participate in the infamous Stand Up Paddle downwinder, the Viento Run in addition to action packed course racing at the Waterfront park in Hood River, Oregon. Recently the Paddle Challenge has extended it’s watersports craft to include the brand new emerging sport of Wing Foiling and to include Out Rigger Canoe and Surf Ski divisions. The event truly is an event for anybody and everybody.

In the event spirit, local legend and 8x Gorge Paddle Challenge Champion and 3x SUP World Champion, Fiona Wylde, hosts an epic day where kids are the center of attention. It’s called, Fiona Friday Funday! Combining her skills from establishing Wylde Wind & Water with her expertise of the water, Fiona cultivates an incredibly fun day for kids with both on-land team building activities and in the water adventure!

All kids are welcome! There is no registration fee and the only requirement is for the parents to sign a waiver. All of the kids will leave with goody bags from the local event sponsors and some of Fiona Wylde’s sponsors.

• Wetsuits

• An incredibly fun time!

You should bring:

• Wetsuit and life jacket if you have your own

• Snack

• sunscreen

• towel

• change of clothes for afterwards

• A positive attitude ready to have fun and meet new friends!
