Free Weekly Saturday Community Paddle
Stand Up Paddling is one of the most fun ways to enjoy being on the water in nature! SUP is a fantastic way to meet new people, have fun in the water, and learn about water safety. Whether it’s your first or your fiftieth time paddling, we want to share the sport with you! Every Saturday in the months of July and August, we host a free community event where anybody can come Stand Up Paddling! Everybody is welcome, free of charge. That means no entrance fee or equipment rental, no experience necessary, just show up! Stand Up Paddling is a family-friendly sport. There are no age limits, (yes, you heard that right, Grandma and Grandpa should come too!) but youth are required to come with an adult.
Every Saturday from July 5 - August 30, 2025. 10am-12pm at Wylde Wind & Water
Everybody is Welcome!
Our Community Paddle is a free community event open to the public for people of all ages and skill levels. At each paddle we host local experts with water expertise from around the region to engage in an open Q&A session about water safety. Our goal is to mesh family fun on the water with conversations about water safety.
After the Q&A and discussion, we hit the water and go Stand Up Paddling! Every paddle event will be catered towards the participants and their skill level, but each event will provide people an opportunity to paddle with a group, growing our local community! No prior paddling experience necessary.
Community Paddles will run weekly during July and August on Saturday mornings at the Wylde Wind & Water Center. Every Saturday from 10:00am-12:00pm, starting July 5th, 2025. No registration necessary, no fee.
